You may not use the "drag to search" feature often, but it's a great thing to have. IMango for Mac is a great file and folder browsing tool. "Exclude Hidden Files and Folders" could be better: There is no option to prevent the application from searching into the system folders or hidden files that should not be tampered with. Only for OS X 10.6 or later: It would have been better if this great app could be used in even older Mac laptops or desktops. Also, if multiple similar files are dragged, the application will search for files that match or are similar to the names of the files being dragged.Äonationware: This application is free, although the developer is appealing for a $5 donation from users. Once you drag a TIFF image, for example, the application will show you all the folders that contain TIFF files. Results are displayed in a hierarchy or folder structure view, so you can quickly find the things you need, especially if you are familiar with the organization of files in your computer.Ärag to search: Perhaps the most interesting feature of iMango for Mac is its ability to do a search as you drag a certain file into the iMango window. You can do searches by using the name of files or folders or keywords corresponding to the contents of files. Organized and intuitive file searching: iMango for Mac comes with a highly intuitive interface. It features an interface that is arguably more intuitive than what Spotlight offers. Designed to work as a supplement for Spotlight, iMango for Mac helps you see file and folder locations in an organized way. ![]()
